Alright Alley, You were right the variator was the issue, now here is the second challenge of the night.
I put the engine on the bike tonight and turned it over and the engine tuned over flawlessly; but, the compression forces air out of the chain tensioner. I must add it is a brand new tensioner is new and the gasket is new as well.

Do you have the the Screw that goes in the center of the Tensioner? Also check your Valve Cover Vent may sure it is not blocked and or hose kinked and it is vented. Alleyoop

good luck with this build wish you would have taken more pics as you put it together Thanks. I would have if I weren't being pushed for time and being frustrated with even building it.

Yea, I have yet to see a Tensioner for sale with the Screw for it in the center. You always have to take the one off the Original that came with the motor off and use that. Alleyoop

Scooter Works says they have just the screw for a buck. Who knows what happens when you try to check out? It's M6X6 if you can find a generic replacement at Lowes. It does seat on a seal so it has to be wide enough and flat.

I know justbuggin' but its at my mothers house because she has the garage and it is in her way. Dad doesn't care but her on the other hand. Not to mention if I do not make the time to work on it, I never would. I just started working on my Masters and that is so stressful, the scooter is a nice diversion.
