I'd sure have a lot more faith in the fab shop than the dealer where you bought it. But if they've got a new engine support in stock I'd take a look at it and make sure all rubber bushings appear soft and if so might as well buy it if only to have a back up. Your original support might have just been defective(I know, hard to believe). This same kind of set up is used on a lot if not most of the scooters I've checked so if it happens a lot you'd think it would be all over the forums and the internet like a rash. Good luck gettin' her back on the road. On a side note, had my motorcycle out today... felt weird. Haven't ridden the bike for quite a while and sure it's a hell of a lot faster but the RT is... I don't know, more comfortable? Is this thing growin' on me? ;D

Yeah man!! I know that even though she's put together poorly or with poor quality parts,I miss the hell out of Liberty and can't wait to get her back on the road. When I do though the next thing I want is a full windshield so I can ride her in the winter.I have 4 other scooters but none like my RT. Oh,I have heard of others having the same problem, This one guy on youtube writes about the same thing going out on his and took a month to get the part,it's not in the video but the comments.

Good luck daddue11, hope Liberty can get back on the road soon. The guy you posted about from youtube ended up selling his 300 and buying Japanese. He said there is a worlds of difference with quality between the two. I think my wobble is creeping back. I'm going to check all the bolts in the front tomorrow and check my alignment rods.

I took the part into the scooter shop today to see if they could fix it or something. The mechanic said that the manufacturer has sent out notices that that specific part has been updated and redesigned with totally different size and kind of bushings and not to try to replace the old bushings that are in the old parts. He also showed me the old part under his lighted magnifying glass and low and behold, all of the other bushings were already starting to crack also, so , it was just a matter of time before it would fail again even if I had it fixed this time. I urge any others of my fellow Sunny rev trike owners to inspect this part very thoroughly. In my opinion Sunny has had tons of complaints already or they wouldn't be changing the part. At least in my case it was proven to be the cause for the constant SHIMMY that everyone else thinks is front end alignment problems. That's why the problem doesn't stay fixed with an alignment. If your bike is still under warranty I would have them replace this part with the updated one or take the dammed bike back with a refund or compensation. Don't do like me and take a bunch of guesss and hunchs and theories until the thing is in disrepair and the warranty is out and you are stuck with junk. Insist that they fix it or refund your money, period.

Is this thing growin' on me? ;D The fab shop that was supposed to fix it didn't touch it and said that unless I could bring them a manual with the parts sizes and tolerences and measurements and then told me that they won't mess with chinese made scooters because it was a liability to put one of thier parts in a bike with such poor workmanship. Even if I get Liberty up and running good I probably won't buy a Chinese bike again Just because of the hassle it is to get one worked on. That alone is enough.

Holy crap daddue, you're really gettin' pulled through the ringer with Liberty! Thanks for the info on the engine support though, I will definitely be calling Carl at HotRodPocketBikes and pushing to get the new part. Good luck gettin' her fixed up!

Thanks new2scootin I hope that this new part fix will solve a number of problems. It seems to me that Ice Bears and Sunny Really had the same problem, and thats the rear end. And I found out that the vibrations and shimmy and wobble when decellerating, and the catch or not being able to get the FULL lean into the corners are ALL coming from the same problem part. Too bad they don't have a recall on the trikes so we don't have to handle this dangerous design flaw with our own money and time.

Update: They ordered the part Monday so I probably won't get it for a week or two. Oh yeah, the scooter shop tried to order it under the warranty but no go,but I'll get it at the shops price plus $10 shipping. not bad.

Thanks for update daddue. Hey when you get the new part can you post some pictures of it before you install it? I am real curious to see what the "new design" or "improvements" are. Oh yeah, do you know the new part number so I can just make it easy for my contact(Carl) to track it down? Thanks again.

I have no Idea of the part number though, I can call and ask this week though. I don't know if it has any number the mech says that it is called a stabilizer bar??? I'll check the invoice for a part number when it arrives.
