For those who will never buy chinese again just remember back....the same was said for the jap motorcycles when they first showed up in the US. Now look at them, they are the standard all the rest of the world looks to compare the other bikes to.
And computers, show me a computer that does not have chinese parts in it or totally made there.

I just called the shop yesterday and they told me that they still have no word on the part. I'm starting to think that they never even ordered it. If they don't have it by Friday, then, I'll go pick my old part and go from there.

I went to the shop yesterday and picked up my old part. The shop and it's three satelite stores are now owned by the man that used to be the mechanic. He told me that sunny told him that he didn't sell enough of their bikes to be a dealer,so, I'll just get it machined with brass bushings,or, I have another project in mind that I can use the drivetrain for. They almost had me interested in a pair of Syms 125s but I didn't like the interest rates they offered. oh well,no biggy. talk to y'all laters couch potators.

I called up sunny motorsports myself and ordered the part myself for 30 bucks cheaper and they said it should be here in 8 to 10 days. I even got a tracking number, and the company said they are sending me the upgraded part with sturdier bushings and thicker steel. we'll see.

Have not been on the tread as much as I used to but saw this and just had to say something. When you run into problems like this just make your own part to replace it. I have CPVC motor mounts on my Magnum 300 Trike.... Sounds funny but I do not notice any viberation difference and has been over 3,000 miles now and I jsut checked them out as I just replaced many roller bearings in the swing arms with double ball bearings and some with metal bushings I had turned.

Hey New2, I asked for the part # and it actually doesn't have a number, just a name lol, The proper name is motor mount with upgraded bushings. Sorry I couldn't get them to give a #.

Doesn't look like much "bushing" in that bushing! Is it rubber filled? Can't tell from picture(slightly blurry).

Well, can't tell yet, they don't like there's any rubber. I haven't taken them home yet,I need to get my snap ring pliers to take them apart, but, by the looks of them, they are just bearings. The top bushings are still the same as the old ones.

Update: Wouldn't you know it?? They sent me the wrong bushings. Yep, these ones were TOO BIG to press into the tube, So Tim at sunny told me to email pics of the parts and they will find out where they went wrong and they'll send me they new improved part all ready assembled or send the correct bushings at least. So now it's just a waiting game again. I believe that the associate sounded sincere about helping so maybe it won't be toooo long.
