I have a 150cc gy6 07 yamati strada with 3500 miles. A month or so ago I was caught by a really bad rain storm from one of the tails of a hurricane and my scooter was left out while I was at work. when the rain clears and I get ready to start my scoot i get nothing. I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replace it and with the scooter off as soon as I put the fuse in it pops as well. I Repeat with the battery disconnected. as soon as I touch the connecter with the battery it sparks and the fuse is goon again. could use some help with this one thanks.

You have a short to ground somewhere.. get a cheap multimeter and start checking... likely the switches on the handlebars, they are very susceptable to water... but it could be anywhere...

The guys are correct, you have a direct short to ground. Look at this diagram and you'll see the fuse is on the smaller red wire. My first guess would be that your ignition switch is shorting to ground after it got wet. Pull the front cowl off to get to the ignition switch. Then test it and see if it's working correctly. Let us know what happens.
