Hello!
Happy to find myself in this forum!
I bought this black beauty a week ago, used and it has 11000 on its counter
Im not a skilled mechanican but I am good at finding information and have read a lot during the last 2-3days.
I believe I have the Linhai motor with one 15a fuse next to the battery and one 20a fuse on the Solenoid
Problem is that it gets no power, no lights, no horn, nothing happends when turning on the ignition (except until today, the clock turned on when connected the battery)
I checked around on all visible connections, tried 2 different batteries with some power since main battery is dead, changed both fuses (is there a third for the ignition?)
It doesnt seem to give me any luck and maybe something is broken and needs to be changed
I have removed seat and front stuff and am ready with voltmeeter and screwdriver for some advices, can provide pics if needed.
Regards Micke

The YY250T uses the 244cc CfMoto engine. This means there are more then two fuses. Someone once posted on here that their are more fuses near the battery. I would check around the battery for a fuse box.

Found this for you:
Lift the seat. Remove the battery cover. On the left side of the battery, at the rear of the battery is a small rectangular box about 1 1/2 inch in size. Pry the lid off and inside are 4 active fuses and two spares. All 1o amps.
Front fuse = light Second = horn, meter, winker reply Third = brake switch Fourth = cooling fan
That is the label that goes with them.

My suggestion if you see a little black box by the battery. I suggest you get four 10amp fuses and put them in there. Then see what happens.

If you have this engine, you have the 257cc linhai/yamaha clone engine. you won't have the fuse box. Have you tested your battery to make sure its good? (make sure its fully charged, check your ground wires, make sure they are tight and if you have the front off, check all those connections. Attachments:

Yeah check to make sure thats your engine in the picture richard posted (thats the 257cc engine). The stock yy250ts comes with the CFmoto 244c engine. The previous owner could have switched engines.
When you turn your key to the right everything should light on including headlights etc. You replaced the two fuses in the picture so I am thinking loose connection somewhere. I would get out your multimeter and start testing the wires on each connection. But please confirm your engine first.

This picture you gave me below is the same area as last post picture. Confirm your engine IMHO.

Then you have the 257cc linhai engine like mine, first I think you need a fully charged battery to see if all the lights come on, now if yours is like mine, the dash light should come on and tail lights and the two little light on either side of headlights, headlight won't come on until scoot is running. Check your CDI, check all those connections too.
