I put a 24mm carb on my scooter and the spacer was causing a air leak ran badly the spacer doesn't match up with the intake manifold since its bigger i took the spacer out it runs like a champ will it hurt to run without the spacer, the 150cc manifold sits up the same height without the spacer as my stock 50cc manifold did with the spacer

No, it is fine I believe the spacers are there so that the manifold clears the top of the shroud. Mine does not have a spacer.
