This is my Tao 150 after installing the $30 Sukuki stainless steel car muffler. Looking forward to some good numbers after I install the 170cc BBK. I welded up a cone to make the 1 1/4 inch flex fit the 2 inch muffler intake. I used some black paint so you can not see the gorilla welds. Keep scootin friends. . 20 degrees here but I rode yesterday. The muffler has a removable silencer which I have not removed yet. Something to look forward to.

Think your talking to the wrong forum we are NOT DOGS the DOGS are on SD, some call it the cesspool. Do us all a favor and copy whatever you want us to see from your thread on SD over here. Alleyoop

Will do Alley. I stand corrected. No offense intended. I was under the impression that the two forums were connected. My bad.

That is ok Makarov, It is all about the MOD DOUG over there he lets his personnal feelings get in the way of just moderating the forum. He has this forum as well as ScooterProfessor Censored so if you type in the names of either forum it blanks the names out. But you can easly get by that by just changing a Letter O to a number 0(HEHE). Alleyoop

I don't know about that Makarov, don't know if you know but RICH is actually in that profession. I wouldn't let him touch me with a ten foot pole, seeing as how he tears into that Scoot he uses to experiment with. Alleyoop

Back to the topic though, do you need to change any of the carb jets to use this muffler? Also, can you link to a representative example of this muffler? there are so many out there. Thanks in advance, and good job with the mod. Sounds awesome.

Mike--- Here is a link to the muffler I bought. www.ebay.com/itm/330819542417?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649At the time of the video I was running a 115 main jet and very open air box. Orange CDI and Coil. I now have the 170 BBK installed with hotter cam and big valves. All of the extra pollution plumbing and wiring removed. I am running a 133 main jet [ drilled with a #55 bit} I have a very open air box and the jetting is about right in this very cold weather. It may be too rich when the weather warms up.
