Very happy with the results.
I got my 170 bbk installed and want to thank this forum for all the help and nowledge attained. I took it out to the highway today and ran it at 55mph Gps for about a half mile. It still had more power and Rpms but I don't want to take any chances and brake it in to hard. It was 32degrees out and a cold ride. Faster accelleration and less strain on the engine was apparent. I am running a drilled 133 main jet. Opened up factory air cleaner. Stainless suzuki straight thru muffler. And performance head. Valves. And cam that came witjh the kit. I used a rotary file in a high speed drill to mill a couple of spots in the crankcase so that the bottom of the 63mm OD cylinder would slide in easily. It was a fun project and am looking forward to warmer weather and some fine tuning.

Copy the crap over onto here I cannot see the post I am banned from SD(HAHA). I could easly get back on it is a piece of cake but why, the place is a agruement pool. Also some of the members used to belong to that forum but left and will not go to there anymore and will not see your BBK upgrade. The MOD DOUG over there has this FORUM CENSORED from putting up links to this forum like you just did to link to something on SD. Alleyoop

Thanks for the tip Alleyoop--I did not know there was friction between the two forums. I got the kit here for $100 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0077CW6GU/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00My kit came with a performance cam that is not shown in the listing. I don't know if this was a mistake by the seller or if they all come with the cam. I had to buy a non emission valve cover as the kit is the old style head without the emission junk. $20 on E-Bay.

Sounds good Makarov, yea take it easy and break in and let the parts wear in nice and even. Then in the spring or SOONER(HEHE), let it all hang out as they say. I am sure it will crank out about 5 more mph or so. Alleyoop
