Today I changed the valve gapping to .004 and tried to fire it up, Yesterday it ran for a brief minute and today this is the problem that I am having.

I thought so too and the voltage is at 12.5 12.6 volts. It turns over great with plug out.

OK , is the booster pack fully charged ? the fuel line with the filter should not have a low spot like it does . If I remember you did some engine work ? I would check that the mechincal timing is correct .

unplug the coil from the plug and see if it gets better .

Line up the 3 holes on the cam gear and lets see where the crank is on the flywheel .

tvnacman - I do Skype, my name on there is cemccrayii, I am not sure what the problem is but I did discover that the starter clutch was loose and ended up binding on the crank and slowing down the rotation. I ended up taking the engine off and tearing it down to replace the starter clutch. I am not sure why that starter clutch nut cam loose, I put that thing on with an impact. So tomorrow I will put it back together and see what happens. As far as that fuel filter goes should I shorten that hose from the tank to the filter?

just make sure the hose is above the pump . if you can get the scooter on the video with skype. thats a home run .
