just installed a 80cc BB kit on my scoot worked well after fixing carb problem .. trying to find a better starter .. cant find on ebay.. anyone know where to find one for my tao tao

The starters for the scoots are all pretty much sameo sameo. Why do you think you need a starter? You may not, problem starting is usually other things and not the starter.

So if you can explain what if any problems your having it appears starting it from the starter question. SO what is happening some detail and some checking will determine what part is causeing any starting problem.

well I had a starting problem so I cranked my starter for problem for at least an hour now it dont sound as strong..even sounds weak.. now my button doesn't work so I keep doing this jumping the solenoid guessing that is bad also.. and dont think its the switch I think I cranked it long as 2 years worth of use.. now I ordered the solenoid and thought getting a good started will only help in long run .. any ideas??oh yea fixed the starter problem scoot runs well now

If it sounds weak it is probably your battery is low with all the cranking. They do not last very long cranking it and the more you crank it the weaker the battery gets and you have to charge the battery.
