Its almost there just some fine tuning. For starting the mixture has to be almost right on so they start with 1 or 2 short hits of the start button. Don't forget the ENRICHER is also feeding extra fuel so if the Fuel Mixture is set to rich then it gets TO much fuel and when COLD if the mixture is to lean then not enough fuel.
You will find that in the summer HEAT you will find that it gets to much fuel and if the temp is 80 or so you are better off WITHOUT the ENRICHER, it is not needed. Alleyoop

Another question, Would you go with a EGR head or non? I have both and wonder what good it really does.

I also meant to ask, your carb looks like you have a manual choke. Iwas wondering how hard would it be to remove the auto choke and rig-up a manual choke?

Well, yeah partly. I have that valve cover, but I'm also talking about the head that the valves are in (in other words the one that the carb and exhaust hook up to)

And that is what I mean you can use either HEAD the one which has the Fresh Air Breather in it or the NONE PAIR head. Put on the NONE PAIR head then you won't have to block the Fresh air inlet on the PAIR HEAD. Alleyoop

At the bottom of that PAIR HEAD valve cover there is a reed valve that also hooks up to the muffler and supposedly burns the unburned gas. Does that make the engine perform better?

Think it's some type of emissions like exhaust gas recirc. or something to that effect.
