Hi all, Im just wondering if anyone els has had a fuel tank that seeped from the ring built into the tank which holds the sender and the locking ring in place?. I have my own ideas on how to repair this , but wonder if anyone els has had a problem similer to this. Its a 07 jcl 250 tank on bottom between frame rails. bought this scoot as a leftover and put 42 miles on it, just dont want to go up in flames someday LOL, ok thanks and catch yall later Poppajon.

Yes, around the sensor your will find a big rubber washer that fits in a slot around the sensor. You can go to the auto parts store and get a sheet of gasket material and cut out several rings and add to the rubber washer. Or get some ATV gasket maker and add that to the rubber washer. The ATV stuff turns into rubber once it sets and drys. Alleyoop

Not 100% sure I trust ATV. If you are too generous it squeezes out and has all sorts of pieces floating around in the tank. and it does seem to stay soft with the ethenol fuel most of us run. If I must use it, I try to keep it thin and away from the edges. lefty2
