Hey man, if you can give me a link to the product I might be able to manipulate one of those images and help you out. I'm just not familiar with that unit so I'll need some info.

I know this one is weird and I am confused by it. The biggest issue is that this magneto is TINY in comparison to the stock magneto. There are no other marks than the ones I photoed and I was going to just set the timing mark to the bump that I would assume would be the T mark. I made sure that the product was definitely for a GY6 150cc engine but yes that is the product I bought but I got it from Jeramey at Enviromoto.

It should not be a problem, the FLYWHEEL FITS IN A WOODRUFF KEY on the crankshaft so that is a fixed position. If you DID NOT take the HEAD OFF OR CAM and CHAIN it should be GOOD. You can check it out. 1. ALIGN the CAM SPROCKET with the two little holes even with the top of the head and see where the flywheel BIG BUMP is. It should be Be either under the pickup coil or a little past it. Alleyoop

Unfortunately Alley I had to replace the crank. Tomorrow I am going to try a few things and see if I can a rabbit out of my hat.

Still not a problem. 1. bring the piston up to top dead center 2. Check the flywheel make sure the HIGH MAGNET on the flywheel is close to the PICKUP COIL if not it is on the exhaust stroke so turn it again and bring the piston up again that will be on the compression stroke. 3. Align your crank sprocket holes and put on the chain.

OK, I don't know if this helps but I found a pic of the flywheel on a GY6 stock engine. The yellow arrow points near the T timing mark and the upper , not solid red arrow points to the raised pick up magnet:
Now here is one of your pics and the red arrow points to what I'm assuming is the pick up magnet. The yellow arrow points to the suspected timing marks but as Alley points out the flywheels would have to be oriented the same. So I don't think those are timing marks at all, maybe just milling marks.

I do have a question GTI, if we are looking FROM THE FRONT of the motor the fan looks like it is on BACKWARDS the blades are poinitng the wrong way. Can you take a picture from a straight shot looking at the complete motor. Alleyoop

What I have done is set the piston to TDC, dropped the cam in and made sure it was spot on, this morning/afternoon I will try to crank it up. That is if my day goes according to plan. Also Alley here is a pic of that fan.

That is weird the blades are curved the other way. Here is a performance one that they sell notice the curves of the blades face clockwise which is the way the flywheel turns. To grab air and push it under the shroud. Alleyoop
