Before I posted it here I chatted with them and pointed out the price difference. She stuck to her guns. I've never seen it this cheap before, the lowest before was $1200. If it runs like my Cub clones, only faster, it would be close to the speed I normally run the Fashion and would be reliable.

The whole site is on sale right now. Wish I could afford to buy now, but I have to wait 6 to 8 mos. before I can upgrade to a 250. Yah I know the riding season will be over but what yah goin ta do?

Dealer cost is 820 fob CA. If you ship enough you can probably get the shipping cost per bike to around 100-110. He's charging 240 shipping...so figure he's netting about 200 a sale. If he's sitting in his underwear sipping a beer using his laptop... $200 ain't too shabby.

It is not funny really if you realize what they paid for per unit. $899.00 plus shipping so their price was 400-600 depending on how many they bought from the distributor. Alleyoop

Alley,
I don't think the importer/ distributor is making that much. Like I said, the distributor I use is charging $820. Probably paid 600 or so from China. Throw in sea shipping,customs, and warehousing costs and I figure they're making maybe$60 per unit. Their money is made in volume.
