Luke, even those guys on a pull start "tote-goat" go for longer cross country rides than you do. Maybe you should think next time before you post a video that makes you look so bad.

That's from the "Handyman's Corner" of the "Red Green Show". All that's missing (and why it won't work) is the DUCT TAPE.

Luke? What's with the Montana plates. I thought you were in Yuma?

I know what you mean KZ. It was a great day for a ride here in SLC also. I probably wasn't quite as cold as you though as it is 64 degrees here. I figured it was time to do the spring tune up, so I adjusted my air/fuel ratio a little leaner and checked all my fluids and air pressure. While I was at it I also wiped down all of the surfaces to get rid of the winter grunge and wiped down my home made trunk with a good oil preservative (made from recycled barn wood). It sure took a beating this winter (no garage for my scoot. just a cover), but it now looks even better than ever. I love the way well kept wood ages. Of course after all that I had to take my scoot out for a ride and I also wanted to see how my new saddlebags worked (also homemade from a couple of carry-on duffles I picked up at a local clearence store for only $3.50 ea.). Lots more storage than my last pair that I made out of a couple of messanger bags. So far they seem to be OK, maybe even a little too large, but I can't wait for the real spring to really hit so I can load them up and hit the mountains for my first camping trip.

I haven't been riding for almost 3 weeks. The temp in SLC hasn't been above 25 til yesterday and has been down to 4 but mostly hovering around 18. I only wish it would be a balmy 48. Just like FrankenMech, my only transportation is my scoot so I have learned to stock up on stuff I know I'll need especially when it's on sale. Maybe before Xmas I'll get to the store again.

Wow, a toilet, stick shift and rumble seat. An old guy's dream machine.

Really? The CHEAPEST sidecar on the site is more than 3/4 of the owners on this site paid for their scooters.

That's the whole idea about mixing weights. By having two different weights you get some of the advantages of both. Faster starting pick-up and higher top end. Not as fast or as high as each set by it's self but some of both. Increase each alittle instead of having to sacrifice one for the other.

I bought my Chuanl 150cc scooter from Scooter Depot and I love it. HOWEVER, it did ship without a battery and MSO took two phone calls and an extra two weeks to get and I never got a battery or even a return call or fax from them, even after a month and I lost track of the number of calls. I couldn't even get the same person on the phone again so I had to explain the situation over and over every time and get promised the world with absolutely no follow-up. To sum it up products seem to be fine, it's after they get your money service that sucks.

Truely amazing trip!!! And I thought I was pushing it with my trips to the Uinta Mountains on my 150cc loaded with my camping gear, although I do have a lot more steep grades (some more than the 15% he showed). I think he has inspired me to take some longer (if not higher) trips. Maybe to Geat Basin National Park next year. It's been a long while and I really want to see Leman Caves again. They are the most gorgeous caves I've ever seen and I have been to Carlsbad. Not bigger, just better.

Boy, that Burgman 200 sure looks nice to me. (I clicked a couple links in the article). It really doesn't stand out in any catagory but seems real good in all of them. Top speed of 75 mph, 68 mpg, low weight (for a "maxi style" scooter), larger wheels for stability and quality. Now does any body out there have a measly $5500 laying around they could send my way?

looks like the catch tube from your air filter box. You will normally get some oil in there and this just catches it instead of it getting blown all over you engine and causing a mess. Check it out once in a while to see if it needs to be emptied and it can also be an indication that you have a problem someware if it fills up fast.
