Don't ask why I would ride on a day like this, and yes, the video is shaky because I was cold

Too cold for me. I didn't even go outside to work on mine today, let alone ride it!

I know what you mean KZ. It was a great day for a ride here in SLC also. I probably wasn't quite as cold as you though as it is 64 degrees here. I figured it was time to do the spring tune up, so I adjusted my air/fuel ratio a little leaner and checked all my fluids and air pressure. While I was at it I also wiped down all of the surfaces to get rid of the winter grunge and wiped down my home made trunk with a good oil preservative (made from recycled barn wood). It sure took a beating this winter (no garage for my scoot. just a cover), but it now looks even better than ever. I love the way well kept wood ages. Of course after all that I had to take my scoot out for a ride and I also wanted to see how my new saddlebags worked (also homemade from a couple of carry-on duffles I picked up at a local clearence store for only $3.50 ea.). Lots more storage than my last pair that I made out of a couple of messanger bags. So far they seem to be OK, maybe even a little too large, but I can't wait for the real spring to really hit so I can load them up and hit the mountains for my first camping trip.

Even at only 30 mph that's like 25-30 below,,,,,,,,amazing Unlike, oh say, a Yamaha Morphous my scooter will do anything. It fired right up in my unheated garage, settled into a nice steady idle and took off smoothly. Seafoam and a good design conquer again.

Sure thing, how about riding instead of trailing it because it won't start or run good. If that is what you call quality have at it. You already spent 10 times over what you think of as a quality piece. The cost of gas trailing and having to have a trailer because it always breaks not a good investment I must say. You ought to get a Finance Adviser that quality piece is going to make you broke. Cost of tires on the trailer as well as whatever you use to pull the trailer plus stress on whatever you haul it with plus the extra gas it takes to haul that quality piece. Have to say someone with that kind of mentality is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. But to each its own I always say so enjoy your quality piece looking at it in your rear view mirror Alleyoop
