What about Bashan's method? I know he has left his panels off for access convenience but it must also increase cooling. I have also seen posts about adding vents or just drilling appropriately placed holes in panels.

Went out to check on the scoot to see if I had to brush any SNOW off. Was below freezing this morning with a foot of new snow in the mountains here in SLC. Luckily the scattered snow flurries forcast for the valley seemed to have bypassed me. Still much to cold to do any riding.

It says top speed is 24.9mph. Where could you go with this? Maybe to the corner grocery store as long as you don't go on any major streets with those huge 35mph speed zones.

Hey, maybe you could mount that on your scoot as a beverage holder?

Try checking your ground wires. Broken or loose and you will get 0 reading and no start.

The whole site is on sale right now. Wish I could afford to buy now, but I have to wait 6 to 8 mos. before I can upgrade to a 250. Yah I know the riding season will be over but what yah goin ta do?

;DFinally a couple of days in a row with the temp above 40. Put the battery back in my Cadillac scoot yesterday and after a couple pumps on the throttle and a couple kicks on the kick-start to loosen up the motor it started right up. Since I have to keep it outside and we just came off the coldest Jan. in over 20 years here in Utah and only 1 day above 40 and 7 above freezing in Feb. I haven't even started, let alone rode, my scoot for 2 1/2 months. Took it for a ride to the store today. Still have to bundle up. 40 mph at 44 f still feels like about 10. IT WAS GREAT. Can't wait for 50 f. Can you say ROAD TRIP. (Maybe my cabin fever is showing a little)

I like it, even if most of the comments at he link were (to put it mildly) negative. And I don't think service would be hard at all. A lithium battery pack, electric motor and electronic package. I'm sure Toyota would be smarter than most Chinese scooter co's and make access easier.

Looks like a great ride. Only thing I can think of to make it better would be a day or two of rest time along the way. Looked real tiring but fun.

Nice vid. I was wondering what kind of camera setup you used. I noticed that the picture was pretty much straight ahead all the time. When I ride I'm always looking around and checking over my shoulders so I'm assuming it's not a helmet cam.
