As was seen back in October my V5/Legacy was destroyed and I was skinned alive.

Well after some new ones of these and those........

A full strip down and rebuild from the ground up with the new goodies and a full pressure wash, detail, and polish.......

So basically the rebuild was done over several months this winter and it's as good as new.

I'm healed up as well, except discoloration scarring that resembles being a burn victim. Looks like in the next two weeks or so the weather will permit it being time to ride again.

I can't wait. I bundled up a couple weeks ago and went out for a ride looking like the michelin man. ;D I don't believe in windshields and flares, I like my 2 wheel experience to be pure so it's good and damn cold running a naked bike in January/February. I got my fill in that 2 hours after being housed up healing and building the bike all winter and I can't wait for the weather to change!

Cmon lucky 7's let's have that 70 degrees!

Good job healing. Bike looks right too. I don't always like windshields either. Rode a bandit for 7 years, a naked bandit, red line in 3rd gear is 140mph and if you would like to ask me how I know go ahead. As far as I am concerned a 150 doesn't go fast enough to deserve a window.

Man it hurts just looking at your scraps OUCH!! And those things hurt for quite a while until the new skin grows back over it. In a lot of cases those areas will still be a little tender for some reason. Good to hear you have healed and got your ride back in brand new shape.
