I put a new ignition in my roketa now the brake lights dont work everything else works and the wires match on the pin outs could the bulb be bad?

Turn the key to off and squeeze the brakes and see if they come on then. If so the wires are wrong. And yes the bulb could be out check it and see if you see broken filement.

i did spray it down with water before i painted it today
