HELP!!! Could someone tell me how I can tell the which head 64mm or 69mm valves, is on my 49cc scooter engine gy6 139qmb without pulling the engine apart, I've tried to find out online and I can't find any clear way... thanks for any help I would really appreciate it..

there"s no clear way you have to pull it apart, what year and model i"ve took many apart, i may know.

Hi everyone I found out a sure way to tell it is as follows, basically the 64mm valves the lower edge of the valve spring retainers is just below the top of the head surface. The 69mm valves the lower edge of the valve spring retainers just is just above the top of the head..

This is the best pic I could take of mine. It appears that the lower edge of the valve spring retainer is dead even with the head. So what do I have? I been going nuts trying to figure it out. The bottom valve is blown out and is not in the head. It is set at TDC also.  |
