I rode the Fashion to work in Talladega today as usual, it was 29 when I left the house. Here's our weather for the next ten days:
It's colder up there for sure Alley:
You're warmer than Bama Poppajon! Well, at least right now:
Typical for this time of the year in Bama there will be a warming trend, then rain, then cool, repeat. Soon the tornadoes will start showing up till about June. Then the afternoon heat storms start which are tough for my commute because they are so unpredictable. Luckily I own my own business so I can hang out until the storm rains itself out.
I use to live about as far north as you guys are in Toledo. As I remember there were some Tornadoes in the spring up there but not as many as down here. Same with the heat storm in the summer. It's been a long time though, does that sound about right? Rich

I could be wrong but I believe the coldest day of the year so far wasn't in winter but spring, at least in north ar. This winter didn't seem all that cold but it didn't have any really warm days in it. I remember in the late 80's in the chicago area I rode my goldwing with just a t-shirt for about an hour the 3rd week end in jan on a warm day. It was around 70 for a couple hours then. Some years here my apricot tree blooms out in jan from a warm spell only to have the blossums freeze off and this year it waited till march to bloom. Our weather is sure skrewed up. john

The temperature here soared all the way up to 40* with a wind chill of 33 so I thought I'd take the Cub clone into Town for some groceries. About two miles from here it started to flurry and the wind was blowing pretty good. Coming home it started snowing in the same spot but cleared off after a half mile. My first Spring ride.

Oh, I see, you're like taunting us in your PR blase' way to tell us how the climate is sooooo tropical and we should all be like really jealous and...........Great Zeus look at the rainfall in the summer! Do you guys have webbed feet or something?
Hey, in your signature pics I'm seeing William Shatner on the left and Louis CK on the right. Am I close?

One of the things on my bucket list is to ride in the snow. That's the only requirement so flurries would work. You have checked that one off but living up there would provide ample opportunity. I rode after an ice/snow storm a couple months back but it wasn't actually snowing at that time. Sure was slippery as hell though!

Temps look good, but there must be a reason that 1/2 of the US doesn't move there though. I hate snow, the only reason it looks good is when it covers the trash in the neighbors yard.
