Son dropped his scooter on its side last night, took a couple of goes to get it started but fired up. Cut out a few minutes later but again started after a couple of goes and ran ok. Went to the shop went to start it but took a good few goes to get it going. Just wondering if it's been damaged or any other ideas. Also I think the starter motor is on its way out as it takes about 3or4 presses on the button to start . The spark plug has been changed with the battery again any ideas how long it would last or is it time to move on..thanks

check and see if the carb is in place right the air filter and the intake boot could have came lose and with the starter check the grounds and make sure they are in good shape

Right on Justbuggin, good advice. Also, the starter button can go bad, it's pretty common actually. Set your multi up for continuity and test the button:
