Question

Today I was allowing the scoot to run and break in a little more, I tapped the throttle and I got some smoke from underneath the intake. Is this a common problem? What is the best solution for this issue? It doesn't do it all the time but once in a while. I am using the NCY blue intake.

I did that and I even replaced the gasket but it is coming from the intake that is the weird thing.

Coming from the intake you are getting some blow by. It may go away after the rings seat well, rings will usually seat after around 20 or so miles, bring it up to 40 or so mph and then vary the speeds down and then back up again to get them to seat evenly. Alleyoop.

Alright will do Alley, I have another question that I know you can answer. There was a thread about some upgrades that can be made to your forks for a decent price but I can not find the post anywhere. Do you remember the name and have a link to it?

Could not fine anything but how about sticking in a longer Spring inside with some shims. If yours has 10" get springs 12" springs and or you can try heavier oil and or a little more or less depends which way you want to go softer or harder. Alleyoop

I found the post but the pics are not longer available so I am going to leave that alone until I can figure out how to change the oil in them.
I have another crazy issue though. Of course the charging system on the scoot sucks but I can have a resting voltage on my battery at 12.1 volts, BUT my lights don't work horns doesn't blow or anything electrical. The fuse is good. BUT once I hook up the jump box to it, it comes alive. The logic behind this issue baffles me

Well 12.1 is not good at all, any load on the battery it will drop to around 8 or lower. Turn everything on and then test the battery it should read quite low. Either that or you have a bad ground. But battery resting with 12.1 is not good it should read at LEAST 12.5 or 12.7 Alleyoop
