The economy is definately picking up around my area. What surprises me is that instead of seeing more scooters on the road because people have some bucks now, they are buying giant trucks and SUVs. This place is swarming with them. Gas is about $3.60 around here so burning up a boatload of gas isn't cheap. Americans never learn. Anybody seeing more scooters lately?

Unfotunately, those MIC sales don't reflect the Chinese scooters that were sold.

There is probably no way to ever know about the chinese sales. With so many importing them and even if you were able to get information from states dmv it would still not get them all as some are never registered, some do not have to be registered, and some are used for parts from the get go.
