! More problems! So its Been hot the past few days and last night after I got home. I was playing with the air/fuel mix screw. Revved it wide open throttle. And it was going. Then died. Like instantly. I thought nothing of it because it started again when I tried 10 mins later. This afternoon around 11.30 I was on my way to work. I barely got down the road and it just lost power and died, like instantly. I held the throttle open and it would cut off. And I had to wait a little for it to cool down, then it would start and run for a lil while then do the same samething

Just could be your fuel pump or vacuum petcock not working. Actually it sound like it is running out of gas so you probably have a low fuel delivery rate. I had problems like that when I first got my 150 that I have since resolved with a better fuel pump and also placement of vacuum and fuel lines.

It only does it when it's hot out though.

It only does it when it's hot out though. I had the same issue with my Piaggio 150. I ended up cutting the vent line off carb installing a "T" with a filter on it to keep debris out. Scoot ran great after that. Some people recommended drilling a small hole in gas cap......didn't want to do that. Vapor lock might be the issue, heat causing the tank to pressurize and flood the carb.
Good luck!

jjoshua, When you run into that problem and you are on the Throttle the best thing to do is BACKOFF the throttle some AND NOT keep it open so much. When that happens it is either to much fuel or not enough but usually it is LACK OF FUEL and to much AIR so backing off the throttle will close the butterfly and not allow so much air in to compensate for not enough fuel that the motor needs.
First thing to do is CHECK YOUR VALVES, they may have gotten tight on you and with it being hot is even worse. To check if the GAS TANK is NOT venting and pressuring WHICH WILL NOT allow fuel to flow Crack the Gas cap open from the LOCKED position and see if that helps. If it does then you know the Gas Tank is not venting. Now If your scoot has a CANISTER to Trap the fumes and allow it to VENT then the problem is the CHARCOAL canister is plugged with gas and not allowing it to VENT. If so you can take the VENT hose from the TANK and put a Fuel FIlter on the end of it and zip tie it HIGHER than where it comes out of. REASON is if you overfill the Gas Tank and also as you are riding the gas is splashing around and will get into the VENT HOSE and clog it up. This way Gas cannot clog the Vent hose.
As for the Gas Tank Canister just take the Vacuum hose at it ORIGIN and plug it up and the hose going to the AIR FILTER TUBING or Air BOX just plug up the connector where it connects to and pull the canister and its hoses off. ALleyoop

Thanks guys!
So I put my other carb on to see if that was the problem, but when I took off the old one it was clean out of gas... No evendrop came out when shaken. So its a fuel delivery problem. My gas tank was never properly sealed when I got it. It leaks gas when on Its side or when full it leaks on the slightest tilt. It's coming fron the gas meter side. The gasket was torn, so I took it of to aat least get a little seal. But the fuel pump is stock vacuum powered. Vacuum runs from intake manifold. Sucks from one port on the gas pump witch is mounted on the bottom of the gas tank, then spits out gas from the other port

That's what it sounded like, running out when at full throttle. Low fuel flow. Should be easy fix now that you know what the problem is.
