Hi i recently ran in to the screen door on my porch I was thinking once I get it proppey held in place to Scott's paint tape around the light then bondo and sand it down even then a black coat with and acrylic finish the. Light sand paper in an get and massage the acrylic down to an even finish does this sound good or is there a better way to do it with out replacing it.

that's prolly the best way to do it, your'e on the right track. if it's cracked you have to re-inforce it with Quicksteel on the backside. jbweld is obsolete, and it's difficult to apply because its too liquid and always dripping. i always use Quicksteel. anyway good luck with your project!keep us posted

no the plastic wont melt, its a very versatile adhesive, it works with anything, its even water proof, i used it underneath the boat transom while underwater, hardens like hell! jbweld is now a thing of the past. whoever still used it is a jurassic, lol
