Does size matter as long as its not too short?
Mine keeps getting stuck at full throttle and I keep having to manually close the carb.
Also what can I use as a temp replacement?

It also could be the throttle twist grip. Not safe to ride with a sticking throttle, get the right one.

The grip's fine, I took the cable off and its like getting stuck inside.

Need to clean the CABLE put wipe it with some lithuium grease then get some Carb Cleaner and pour it down the CABLE SHEAVE to clean that out. Also if you took it off did you by chance RE-ROUTE it, if you have a hard turn that will cause it to bind.
