Hello everyone I'm Dave. I've been lurking on a few sites for a yr or more and thought it was time to join 2 or 3. Well about 3 weeks ago I bought a 2009 CF moto fashion off CL for $950 with only 43 miles. Wow what a deal!!! When I got it Home it had 177 miles. Boy-o-boy what a ride.

well,well,well,,!! another morphous hater on board!!!...dragonball, you need to see a morphous in person, i'm sure youre going to drool over it's beauty...
helix is no match to morphous, appearance wise, features wise., specs wise.
the front of the helix looks like the beak of a laying duck.. .and the back trunk OMG, it's so huge,looks like shaquille oneal's coffin. OMG!!
but nevertheless, a scooter is a scooter, i heard many nice things about Helix, i know it's a good machine, but it's the appearance that i can't really stomach...hmmm, it's just meeeh!! lol

Hell there is probably more riva's registered today than morph's and mine is 28 years old.

people are not satisfied with Helix,that's why they created Morphous ... am i right or am i right???lol

Spare me Luke. I have seen the Morphous in the flesh. I'm not going to lie and say it wasn't prettier than a Helix or clone, but what isn't? How long did it sell here? Two years? Not exactly a glowing endorsement of its desirability.

But I will agree the Morph has a Cadillac ride. If all you want to do is go straight. I live in a land with corners and dragging centerstands don't exactly cut it here. Or as Cycle World says:

The low-slung Morphous reaches its cornering limits quite early, hitting its sidestand and centerstand on the left and the centerstand on the right. Adding a passenger makes the situation worse,

I've done corners with my wife on the back, no dragging parts.

Smoking cactus again? They created the Morphous after Honda pulled the Helix from the market so they wouldn't have to compete with a better scooter. Even at that.....the Helix sold from 1986 to 2008, the Morph didn't last that long. Maybe it was that devilish fuel injection.
