I looked around the web and about the only thing I could find is the "First Silhouette":
With a fender ornament like this who can resist?
The only thing I don't like is the soft, frilly saddlebags. I'm sure they will soon come out with color matching hard saddlebags. If you put those on a chief it would be the perfect bike for me.

It won't be publicly shown until the Sturgis Rally in August. I'm guessing they're using this to stir up advance orders. If the first bike just left Spirit Lake there will be crates and crates of them by the time they show it. It's called "Using Hype to Create an Image". Harley has been selling their bikes by the thousands this way and Polaris is availing themselves of it. You can't know how much I'm loving this campaign.

I googled the heck out of it, thinking I was just missing it somehow. Well, they have me curious. At the $18000-$ 19000 range I think they really going to sell a lot of bikes. Competition is always good for consumers.

Luke a carino is just a std chinese gy6 150cc made by znen that I use at least 6 days a week when the weather is decent, I don't ride any thing when its wet out or cold or when it is much over 95. Don't know what you refer to on rebel forum, I quit going there a long time ago.
As far as sturgis I was just talking to a couple tonight and according to them the ride there is over half the fun. She rode her new harley there 6 weeks after getting her motorcycle endorsement and said it was the most fun she ever had. That was ten years ago.

Phil burned up the starter on his Carino when the Japanese fuel pump he installed gave up (Mikuni). Phil solved his problem by chucking the Japanese fuel pump, putting in a new starter and, the last I heard, going over the 10,000 mile with his original CHINESE fuel pump.
Trailering again Luke? Maybe you can find some Harley owner in the neighborhood who's going and you can join up with him.

Funny you should mention the jap fuel pump.
I too put on a jap (mikuni) because I was running out of fuel at wot. At the same time I rerouted lines. The jap pump quit over a year ago so I put the chinese one back on and ordered a rebuild kit for jap pump but never put it back on. Rerouting the lines was all it would have taken originally. In fact I never even mounted the chinese pump so it is hanging in side off the lines! Today with a threat of rain I will be leaving in my car to go eat but for the rain I would definately be on the chinese scooter. For short trips it is ideal. If I was thinking about sturgis which I have never gone to before I sure would rather be riding a new indian. For me thats pretty well out of my reach being on SS and every year it buys less. A big motorcycle for a long trip like that would be a lot more to my liking. john

i wish there was a "Sturgis" like thing here in the West/ California area. i'll ride going there for sure...no trailer!! i think Medman can organize one, since he lives in Ca. and he is very prominent in the two wheel world... whadaya'll think?
well,,,California is a waaaay more exciting place than Dakota or Daytona Fl.

I was watching ufc and saw and advertisement for the Star Motorcycle line, after looking it up I saw they are from Yahamaha. They have a huge line of big v-twins. Not bad looking.
