just got a new scooter off the truck, some one had mentioned to change the oil right off the bat
because chineese oil is differently made that ours. Just wondering

Welcome to the forum,
and yes change the oil the stuff they put in there is not of the best quality. And the scoots the only thing that helps the motor keep cool is oil and air.

Welcome to the forum, shordie. Like Alleyoop says, change the oil. This is just shipping oil and not really intended for long term use. What kind of scoot did you get? How about some pix?

If it's a water cooled model, then you should also change out the antifreeze. Changing the gear oil is also recommended.

A post delivery inspection (PDI) is recommended for any new scoot. Here's an excellent link on doing a PDI:

it is a jonway 49 cc or I should say 49.65 not sure if that is legally 50cc or not live in Pa. bought it from superpowersports from california. I knew someone that got one from there and has had great luck with it and has had it for 4 years I think. This model is air cooled so no antifreeze.
