My jonway 49cc scooter just seems really gutless going up even small hill. I increase the throttle and it seems to suck back on me. I got the starting problem solved, that was the battery. It does not have enough power when it should, not sure if that is normal or that is the way these chinese scooters are.

Well another thing I didn't notice was that the front light usually comes on when I turn the key on. It now does not do that I did do what you said and no spark. Does the CDI tell the spark plug to spark also? I really though it was starving for gas now I think it is just not gettting a spark. I am beginning to think it is a electrical problem

I have just had my scooter not even a month and it will not start. Have used the highest octane gas in it and I changed the oil twice already and the gear oil also. The only thing l am going to try is the fuel filter but I cannot believe that is clogged up. I live on a dirt road and it can be dusty not sure whether it has clogged any thing up but I am going to check the air filter. I t just sounds like it is not getting enough gas.

My scooter front brakes seem to be sticking. The front wheel does not seem to move as free like it should if you have it on the stand and you turn it by hand it does not move as freely as it should. Also it calls for gear oil of 80w 90 GL-3 cannot find this any where. I forgot to tell you that it sounds like something rubbing against the disc brakes

it is a jonway 49 cc or I should say 49.65 not sure if that is legally 50cc or not live in Pa. bought it from superpowersports from california. I knew someone that got one from there and has had great luck with it and has had it for 4 years I think. This model is air cooled so no antifreeze.
