Wife went to start her 150cc gy6....nothing electrical works at all.....battery is good ...fuse is good....Im getting 14v up to the selonoid....anyone have any ideas? I know mechanical side of these things but need to brush up on electrical side....if it would be the voltage regulator....is that up in the steering cover? No light ,turn signals horn,brakelight.......nothing and it don't tur over at all?...any help is very much appreciated!

Sounds like the fuse if nothing electrical works, they ususally have tube fuses and can go bad quickly. They may look good but on the ends the wire is broke and you cannot see that. Replace the fuse, if still no juice then the problem has to be by the ignition key. Usually the red wire from the battery off the fuse goes to the ignition and when you turn it it sends juice to the rest of the system. Alleyoop

I agree with Alley big time. I bet it's the switch, after replacing the fuse check your ignition switch like this.

On the other forum he said no juice is getting to the key switch. So he has to re-check the wireing to the battery and the fuse. I personnaly think it is a bad connection of the fuse or bad fuse. Told him to check BOTH SIDES of the fuse for voltage and that will tell ALL. Alleyoop

Thanks Guys....It was the fuse...I know better then to check a fuse while still in...but thats what I did...DUH!...Thanks again

Great to hear easy fix, those darn fuses are tricky they may look good but are bad that is why you have to either just replace them or test both sides of the fuse to make sure voltage is getting across them. Alleyoop
