They never gave the eJewel EFI. In my humble opinion, I think the eJewel was the best scoot they made. ( They really grow on you) Carb'd, so they're easier to work on, comfortable, reliable, classic styling and a blast to ride.

So I made it to look at the scooter tonight. Really good condition oil looked new and paint wasn't bad. Test drove it was surprised how quick it was. Did I end up buying it YES! I will post pictures tomorrow. I didn't get him down on price it was listed at $950 and he took $800. Over all good deal. More to come!

So after a few days of owning this wonderful scooter. Driving it on private land it rides beautifully! Starts on first press of the ignition. I have had to fill the coolant tank when I first purchased it. No leak so I am happy about that. Does anyone have any suggestion on paint? A couple spots there is clear coat peeling, would like to stop any further more damage. Do you wax plastic? Or is there some type of sealer?
Thanks in advance Paul

Waxing is ok..I just mist mine and wipe it down and buff alittle. I wax only once a year but keep it garaged and out of the rain

OK a problem has come up and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have noticed the cylinder you fill with brake fluid on the right side is leaking. I have included a picture of the issue. s1303.photobucket.com/user/paul33570/media/IMG_20130618_181816_zps3e307842.jpg.html If you look that the picture you will see this has been an issue for awhile with the paint now gone. It looks as though this is an eye type of thing so you can check your brake fluid. Any pointers on replacement? Thanks Paul

a penny coin fits perfectly in there, try it. thats what my friend did on his chinese, then he bond it with some oil resistant adhesive.

Thats what some one else did too and it did not hold with what ever epoxy he used. a whole new master cyl is not that expensive.

I did checked the penny did fit however i would like to replace what is wrong because the brakes are important. According to this vendor chart looks to me I would only need the oil cup does that make sense or do I need to replace other parts also? www.alpha-sports.com/cfmoto_parts_street.htmAny advice would be appreciated I am honestly thinking of trying the penny trick to see if it works. Thanks Paul

yeah agreed! you need to replace the whole assembly.
... and can you imagine that, what if you are in a long trip and all of a sudden you cant brake your scooter because the reservoir has been leaking, omfg!!! do these chinese manufacturers even take into consideration the lives of the riders??? we're now talking about riders safety here. my goodness!!!
who approves the importation of this disposable scooters btw? they need to be held liable to whatever happens to the riders. my lord!!!

As far as gluing we all know brake fluid is very corrosive to stuff like paint. I doubt if there are many glues that could hold it back. If the master isn't right just bite the billet and replace it. As luke says you go to put on brakes and there isn't any or enough to keep the car off your front fender ...omfg

i agree with jct, brake fluid is very corrosive. i just couldn't exhaust thinking why the chinese scooter manufacturer would put a low grade plastic on the reservoir window.? the quality controller must have been bribed and approved the release of the scooter in the US even if it did not pass the QC. omfL. (L=lord).
i thank god everyday for my yamaha morph., i always feel safe whenever i ride.
