Wanted to be the first to wish everybody a happy 4TH and find out what you are going to do today.
I'm going to watch my niece's daughter in a local parade, and then it's BBQ time.
Plan to really enjoy it. It's forcast to ONLY be 98 today, breaking our steak of 7 days over 100 degrees. (And now a word from Luke on how hot it is where he's at, LOL).

Wanted to be the first to wish everybody a happy 4TH and find out what you are going to do today. Well happy fourth right back atcha. We live at the end of a cul-de-sac. Every year one of my neighbors puts on a fireworks display in the middle of the circle that would rival many civic displays.
I'm going to watch my niece's daughter in a local parade, and then it's BBQ time.
You're going to cook her??!! That's ghastly.

I had a double header today. This morning I rode the Fashion to work for a few hours and this afternoon took the Cub clone into town on a short shopping trip. Always fun to ride either bike. Oh wait! Today is my Dad's 87th birthday. I called to wish him well and we chatted. He rides the ZR-750 a few times a week on Ocean Parkway, one of the victims of Hurricane Sandy (the road, not my Dad). He was complaining that it's been steaming on Long Island lately making riding on local roads unbearable. All is well once he gets up to speed on the Parkways and he does the 55 mile ride happily after that. He has a vented jacket and says it's like AC at speed. Mom and Dad, celebrated their 65th Anniversary, November, 2012.
