so i just got a taotao thunder 50, it has about 216km on it so far and today i noticed a small drip com from in between where the belt and everything is and what the cover connects to. im not too sure but im pretty damn sure i shouldnt have oil coming from there. someone please help, i cant have this scooter crap out on me just yet

Take the CVT cover off, IF it is not running down the CVT FROM THE VARIATOR up front then it is most likely your TRANNY DRAIN PLUG or it is leaking by the GEAR BOX COVER GASKET, that is the cover that the CLUTCH SHAFT GOES INTO. Alleyoop

could this be due to me not keeping it under 60kmh during the break-in period? what kind of problems could that cause? once i figure out where its coming from will it be easy to fix? i mean, im not very mechanically inclined but i know enough to be able to fix it myself.
UPDATE: it is running down from the variator and theres black stuff in it, what can i do to fix it and why is it running down from there?
