Okay, seeing as I am new to these smaller scooter engines, I need some suggestions and help, please. I have have problems throwing my leg up over seats of regular bikes, so a scoot is the frame I've got to go with. I like the 300KTB style, but am not sure that my leg would go over. So it looks like maybe the Zodiak will be the way I go. I am 5' 9", 220lbs, and would be happy with 55MPH in slightly rolling hills. My question is what, if any, can I do to punch out more RPM and/or MPH out of that cute little engine? The only thing that would sway me toward the 300 KTB is the fact that it would probably be a little easier to throw a bigger engine and rear end (Say, a Honda SilverWing engine and wheel) than one in a rear drive trike... Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Why don't you look around for a SilverWing or a Burgman 650 with a trike kit on it. Maggo on here just bought a Silverwing with the voyager kit for what you would pay for a new Zodiak. Just a thought. But if that is all you want is 55mph the 300s will do that all day long even up to 60mph all day long. Not to much you can hop up them they are already punched out from a 250 motor. Thanks, Alley, I had thought of the Voyager Kit on one of those scoots, but for some reason I keep drifting toward the RT concept. Hmm, maybe I just ought to graft a tilting 2 wheel axle unto a Silver Wing, huh? LOL

Shop on Craig List and find a good deal. Just have to watch and one will come up. Go look everyone as it come up, you can get real deals. The Silver Wing is the only way to fly, I am very happy with mine and have power to spare..

I like my 300cc Zodiac A voyager kit new costs 4000, same as the zodiac On the silverwing above, the center rear wheel does all the work and tends to wear out rather quickly Just depends on your desires/needs I need a trike for disability reasons this trike meets all those needs Japanese or chinese, up to you

Dave, the rear tire was changed at just over 5,500 miles. I just ran her over 8,000 miles and am doing the 8k service on her now, and wiring in some goodies for long trips. Honda said I should get another 4,000 miles on the rear tire, not bad at all. The outer wheels show almost no wear at all. I do not ride my Magnum too often but it served me well for around town. You get on one of these and you will love it, I am getting ready to cross a few state lines on this baby

Well, I've got a lot of time searching to see what there is, as I have to wait for a settlement. But, if I find something that hits me, "smack!!", it'll be mine. Don't worry, I'll let you know... I am not a mechanic, but I am a decent "tinkerer", so is there a website that shows wrecked Chinese scoots? Who knows, I may end up doing a Chinese FrankenScoot, LOL.
Still got lots to learn about these things..
Oh, and I forgot... Bwahahahahahah!!!!!!!

Thanks for the site full of scooters. Man, I used to ride one of those older Silver Wings, a GL 650 with water cooled transverse V Twin. Sure is different now... I still am going thru all the docs and videos to learn more about these scooters, before I do anything.

Alleyoop Just for general principals ,did you decide what bike to buy I have a Ice Bear Q6 3 wheeler ,it is only 50cc but it can be worked up ,not problems with it as of now .The PDI showed nothing serious with it .Nice looking 3 wheeler !
