Friday evening I rode my Silverwing from the Detroit area to Toledo to watch the car races. It was my first time using my newest gadget on the freeway.

I made a mistake and bought the 1" when I should have bought the 7/8", but I solved that problem by putting a couple of O rings under the throttle control poly sleeve. The control worked great, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to ride for any long distance. In addition to the relief you can get from taking your hand off the throttle grip, it gives relief while you have your hand on the grip because you are not constantly pulling back on the throttle.

I also bought new Michelin tires, which are great.

Motorcycle Superstore had good prices and they have a Preferred Installer program, where they list shops in your local area and ship the tires directly to the installer. I used Profile Performance in Canton, MI, who were great.

I used a throttle control way back when, and while it may not be the next best thing after bread, it did make riding more comfortable...

On Silver Wing I use the Kuryakyn 6218 Premier. Man it is nice when on the long runs and when you need to slow you just grip forward. On short runs I just use a cramp buster I think is what it is called...

I think I get a new iphone Wednesday... We just changed service so I ordered new G4s phones. Now I will have to learn that phone... I wonder if that Rabbit can help with the phone?? That Alley got attitude!!! Man he has helped me more than once I can tell you...

i bought this... been 3weeks now,but its worth the wait. i know im waiting for a good quality product, some will come the next day but malfunction the next day too, or has factory defect, hahaha
