What?? Portland, Maine to Key West, Florida in 9 days on a moped. Impossible. Why you can't even do that on a Baja 150 scooter.

Yeah, that sounds a little brutal. 2000 miles @ 25mph is 80 hours. 9 days give you just under 9 hours in the saddle each day for a minimum average. If you break it up and ride 4 hours in the early morning, and 5 in the afternoon, it would help, but i'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to get back on by the second day. I salute them, but I wouldn't try it on less than a 150cc scooter, and would be more comfy with at least a 250.

Don't underestimate these guys. They have support crews, vehicles, tools and spares. Plus a two stroke is worlds easier to work on in the field. I'm betting they know what they're up against and are ready. Notice their first day is almost exactly what Jaden planned. These guys are no amateurs.

Not all are 2 strokes some in the pic I see 4 strokes. But hey it may turn out like the other guy from ny or where ever he started on a 150 down to the keys(HAHA). The trucks will be full of them(haha).

well of course im all for mopeds, they can run all day all night. im very sure it can very well tackle a nine day riding adventure.

Little over kill there Luke Trailer Rider...Used half a page. I think the whole trip would be harder on the riders than the Peds... Lotta fixen and a lot of riden if you ask me

im sure these guys can do only one way, when they reach keywest they will start looking for Uhaul to trailer their mopeds back. that trip is very exhausting for the rider. puck!
or some might just be selling their mopeds to some scooter rental store in keywest and just fly back..

Sadly Jaden was from,and started in, Maine. If he had been from NY he would have made it (on one engine). These moped guys will be using the route Jaden should have used, not interstates.

I wouldn't say all mopeds are uncomfortable. My Rocket didn't break me on the 82 mile trip, in fact, it has more suspension travel than a lot of scooter and a way better seat. At 25 mph you're not fighting the wind as much either, which is a major cause of fatigue on any two wheeled conveyance.

That little jerk threw a stain all over Chinese scooters that the world will never forget. A smart person could have made that trip. Jaden only proved that a moron can screw up anything.
