So this has been going on for awhile and my bike has become impossible to start. Sometimes it will do it, sometimes it wont.

Basically, when you press the electric start button, either I will get the normal starting sound and it will start correctly, or I will get a SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHCH sound, which sounds like rattling from the starter, as if the starter isn't grabbing the flywheel and spinning it, but is just grinding on something. I made a soundclip of it doing it. What could this be?! I couldn't get it to do it..It has magically fixed itself..but still, just in case in starts again, what could this be? I think it's the starter bendix.

Yea it sounds like the BENDIX, it is probably dirty and got stuck and would not come out enough to grab the teeth on the Variator Fan Plate. Take the CVT cover off and pull the Bendix out and clean it out with Carb Cleaner then lube it up a little with some Spray Silicone or WD-40 so it slides in and out smoothly.
