You're so full of it. Warming up? Hah. Lies on top of Lies. If you were so smart how come you have nothing about Mike breaking down. Plus he's only half way done. He'll need that Magnum once he drags his Japanese junk home.....on a tow truck.
What a joke, you should give it up. If this is warming up, try and let me know when you've got something. So far all I've seen is fairy tales and lies.
And trailers.
The side cover was never removed since new so that bearing must not had been greased properly in the first place.
And Mike is only making a supposition. Sounds like a defective bearing to me. Japanese junk. He should have used the Magnum.

LOL... kz I have never broke down... I can go ride it now but the rollers are making more noise than I want and the machine is a2004. As for the clutch case bearing I am guessing as some others have had them fail and make a noise. Since the case has to come off I will replace belt, rollers, and bearing if need. I know one thing for sure... I have not yet seen a chino scoot I would or could run a trip like that at them speeds.

What?? magoo has magnum??? my gosh magooo,i thought you already got rid of those disposable environmentally UN-friendly scoots and went to my side??, better dispose them, you dont want to be like JCt who bought a majesty only to ridicule it everyday of his life, that its not reliable, parts are hard to find blah blah blah, why f dont just sell it and zip it jct, goodness.
but yeah magoo, those "chinosposable" scoots cannot do the trip that you did, it can do 1/4 of your trip tho max! then the next thing you need to do is call the triple A or AMA... lol
did you see how i whip kz's arse in the last 4 posts? it's sunday today, im not in a balistic mood. maybe later.
KZ is the only person among the 7.108 billion living humans in the world who believes that chino scoots are better than japanese scoots or any product for that matter. i dont get mad at him or anything in fact i pitty him, if theres anything i can help him with, since work in the medical field, ill be glad to refer him to the proper psychiatric MD. free of charge.
i mean seriously if you want to go to walmart or some groceries to do errands ,chinese scoots are hmmmm ok, but doing some thousand mile trip?hey better think 100 times and knock your head with a 2 by 4. lol jizz!!

Nor would I Magoo, at least not at 80 mph on a 257cc machine. I would, however, do that short trip on a 250cc Chinese scooter at 60 mph. I've done trips like yours, unlike trailer boy, on way bigger machines at sensible speeds. I'm not as old as you, nor am I afraid. My Chinese scooters are tops and Japanese are junk. I wouldn't have a burned out clutch bearing on a short hop like that, but as you shown, any machine if badly ridden will fail, and Mike. YOu're not back yet. If you want that thing to finish under its own power-back it off. It's not good enough for the speeds you're traveling.
I see you needed Mike to try to bail you out, Luke. Where are the startling revelations?

I'm sure Mike has seen you get your butt kicked raving and saying stupid things. NO facts, just blather. He probably jumped in just now to try and help you out. How many times did you PM him for help? Sorry, Jap scooters drool, China Rules.
I would have expected Mike to fail because of bearing failure on a poorly designed Japanese scooter. He should have gotten a trailer like you and carried the Reflex.

kz if you think 80mph is to much for a Honda Silver Wing you more than prove your lack of knowledge of any machine... I will take you up any time on trying to ride all day a 70 mph on my Reflex and you on your 250 chino you think is better...LOL what a joke....

I won't do 70 mph on my China scoot Mike and you proved that 80 mph is too much for your Silver Wing. It's broken. Don't challenge me Mike.
1968 Yamaha YR-3 -6,000 miles 1974 Kawasaki H-1 -30,000 miles 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000st -125,000 miles 2000 Kawasaki W650 -20,000 miles 2005 Honda Big Ruckus -1,000 miles 2008 Bashan Milano -7500 miles 2009 Bashan Cub Clone -2700 miles 2009 CF Moto Fashion -4500 miles
I have just a tad more experience riding than you and trailer boy and know encyclopedias more than you guys on how to SUCCESSFULLY use a motorcycle.
I don't have the patience to write down all my motocross, field trials, Timed Road Runs, Touring and commuting credits. Here's what I will tell you. When I took the MSF Experienced Rider Course three years ago I passed with a perfect score. I had to do "The Box" (figure 8 in a twenty wide by forty foot long area) three times. With my skill it was a piece of cake.
So when I tell you guys "What's What" I'm not making it up. I am, without a doubt the best, smartest and MOST skilled and experienced rider you've ever met. No brag, just fact.
And you're not home yet Mike. Keep riding at 80 on that crystal scooter and see how long it lasts. What a joke indeed Sir.
I'll ride all year on my Fashion with you on your Reflex at 60 though.

Moped!! No way Luke, on a Big Boy's Motorcycle. A W650 Kawasaki, 675cc of raging horsepower and able to squash Silver Wings, or any Japanese scooter, with a slight twist of the wrist.
So labor intensive too. Every 200 miles I put it up on the centerstand, started it, put it in gear and let it spin. Then I had to sit on a stool and spray the chain with Bel Ray lube. Of course I did have to replace the chain every 20,000 miles. $90 if you can believe that.
And yes, this is our private battlefield. The rest of the Japanese Scooter Lobby-KEEP OUT- or I win. You've chosen Luke as your champion, now stand by and watch me defeat you.

Yes the parts are better Mike. And at twice the price:
Transmission shaft from PFS-$30.00 Transmission shaft from Honda- $66.00
They ought to be better. The point is Mike, what's something worth to you? As you've seen I've piled on more than a few miles on my Chinese machines. If I wanted to ride 2,000 miles on my Fashion, I would, but I have no need for it.
This is why I hate arguing with somebody about Name Brand vs. Chinese. Other people get hit by the fallout. I have no issues with you, Mike, I applaud you traveling that distance alone and unassisted with a trailer.
You see Mike, you've proved that touring, on the interstates, with a scooter is more than possible. If more people with scooters followed your example then the general opinion of scooters would improve and maybe real improvements would be made on them. As it is, they only get trickle-down money on technical advances from the motorcycle companies.
For example. A world class bike company like BMW wants to build a maxi scooter. Do they design and build the engine like they did for the new K1600? No they subcontract it out to Kymco. That might change if scooters were more important to them.
So, ride on Mike. You done good.
I'm going to do my best to not argue with Luke anymore. As somebody said, "You can't cure stupid."

oh, somebody's sour graping! i defeat him in every thread we met... he's no match to me, honestly i am just giving him little of my time out of courtesy. i respect senior citizens. im just finishing up my training here in illinois, as soon as i get back to AZ, i will make sure that his arguements shall be answered and all his false claims will be put into right perspectives. i will not stop spanking your butt until you realize that chinese scooters are NO way better than any other brands of scooters, especially japanese scooters. i am the guardian angel of the newbies, i dont want them to think that all scooters are made from china, i want them to know that hey there are some high quality scooters called japanese scooters. and there are some that are disposable called... uhm,id rather not say it lol... and you even brainwashed jct, he owns a majesty but he thinks that it is a junk and that his other chinese scoots were better that the majesty .. omg!!! time to wake up! u must be dreamin'

Luke you don't know how bad I have wished I never bought that majesty. I never ever thought the 150 chinese was better in quality, I liked it better because of the better value it was compared to what I wasted when I bought the majesty then had to dump a grand into it to be able to continue to ride it.
The chinese scooter never screwed me but the yamaha did. It cost me more to repair the majesty than it did to buy the chinese scooter brand new.
I liked the chinese because I could service it in 20 min once or twice a year compared to 2 to 3 hours 4 times a year for the yamaha. They both rode on the same dusty dirt road I live on yet the air filter never got clogged up on the chinese like the yamaha did from drawing the dirty air the front wheel kicked up. I never had any of the motorcyles I owned here get the air filter clogged up in a short period of time either. I had a goldwing, a suz 450, a suz 650, a yamaha 750, a suz 1200bandit and then all the different cars, one van and no problems with them either. 2 months max and I have to service the majesty. The guy who stuffed the engine in the yp400 is an idiot. It takes at least 1 1/2 hours if you need to get under the crap plastic that hides the insane frame the engine sits in. I believe you would have the same opinion if you had to replace the top end on your couch too. On a majesty the gas tank is sandwiched between upper and lower frames. The fuel pump is still a common failure. Around $3-400 part, and 2 guys recently did one that only took 5 hours once they got the plastic off. (try that at a big city dealer) If mine fails I will be stuffing in a chinese carb for $35 even if I have to duct tape it to the throttle body and ride it some more.

I'm waiting for you Luke. IN the meantime newbies, don't waste your money on Japanese scooters. They don't work better and cost three times as much. And Luke, my scooter is better than yours at 1/3 the cost. Heck, my 50cc bike is ten times better than any Japanese scooter, ever.
Prepare your best LIES Luke. And now the 400 St. Moritz is here to drive Japanese scooters into the sea.

You know what guys, listen... scootering is supposed to be a luxury not a neccesity, which means if you dont have money you have no right to ride a scooter, otherwise you can purchase a cheap disposable chinese scooter but be ready to suffer the consequences.
Some people(like the 2 above)just enjoy to fix the scooter rather than ride it.
having a morphous as a scooter sometimes is not good, because my fixing knowledge is rusting out cause the morphous never had any mechanical issues. unlike the riva and y the Fashion they bog down all the time.
