Ok, so i was checking the valves on the scooter and while i was putting the cover back on one hole got stripped out a bit. I didn't want to force it , so i left it out. How should i go about fixing this and would it be ok to ride for the time being? Maybe a dumb question but i'm not risking messing anything else up. Thanks!

you can get a tap and die set to make new threads, don't think i would run it like that could cause a lean condition and do damage

Yea the valve cover bolts do not need to be tight just nice and snuge, the valve cover has a O-Ring gasket that seals so the oil does not come out. Alleyoop

ok, thanks guys. it's one of the two bolts that holds what i'm guessing is a vacuum line (that metal tube that comes out of the bottom corner of the cover). There are two other bolts on each side of it. I gently started it in and got it going right. So it's back in and snug.
