In the process of upgrading my ignition system. I need to find out what spark plug to use for my application. The PO had a Champion 7TC in there (not even sure if that's what's supposed to be in there). I was planning on upgrading to an iridium anyways.
Also, as far as the ignition goes, I'm looking at my options on Scrappy Dog's site. Should I get the Performance CDI and Performance Ignition Coil or just spend the couple of extra dollars and get the GY6 Racing CDI and Red Hot High Energy GY6 Ignition Coil? What's the difference? Or do you have other preferences on what I should get?

Alleyoop, I saw over on ItIsTheRide that you had been having issues with some CDI's and found one you liked from TVNACMAN. Does this have the fixed advanced timing that you were having trouble with?

The one just about everyone sells HAVE FIXED ADVANCED TIMEING.
The only reason you would have a problem with a FIXED ADVANCED CDI is if the motor has very high COMPRESSION 200PSI or more. I had a problem with KICKBACKS due to High Compression of the motor after the BBK and Stroker Crank were installed.
But you can go with a Fixed or one that has ADVANCING timing which are RETARDED at LOW RPMS and ADVANCE the timing around 3000 rpms like the one I have and that TVNACMAN(John) also sells.
Also the good thing with JOHN(TVNACMAN) he TESTS the CDIs before he ships them. Alleyoop

Alleyoop The high performance cdi's with different timing including the adjustable ones are all fixed throughout the rpm range . The cdi that Alley is using is the only cdi I have and have found that is variable not fixed , it changes the timing all by itself . John
