Hear a high pitch whine coming from area of CVT when traveling at medium to higher speeds. I have nothing to compare to, this is my first scoot. Hoping it is normal. Will be checking gear oil level in final transmission.

I had a bit of whine to my taotao 50. If you skip to 1:30 in this video as he revs it up you can hear a whine in there. Is that the same noise?

It is very difficult for me to detect a whine in the video, maybe heard a little faint whine in background. Thanks though for the reply.

I get a nice little whine from mine when it's doing about 7300rpm. It's how I know I'm at cruising speed without having to keep checking the speedo.
