So I opened up my package from Scrappy's today and I'm pretty damn unhappy. You can look at the photos and judge for yourself how you would feel. Basically my gripes are as follows: Oil Catch Can Kit - Arrived with open (multiple times resealed) packaging, can cylinder full of nicks and scratches all the way around, possibly from tumbling with the hose clamps or possibly shipped already damaged since it had obviously been previously returned. This item is not cheap relative to other vendors and it was not sold as a 'scratch and dent' part. QMK Gasket Set - Bent twice to fit into the USPS Flat Rate Box, creased directly through the (formed metal) Head Gasket. I bought the whole set (they don't sell the single part) but the piece I actually needed for today was the Head Gasket. Sorry, but this is just dumb. You guys at scrappydogscooters.com portray yourselves as the solution providers but in both cases, this was just straight up negligence. To everyone else reading this: Yes, I can send the order back for a credit (paying the shipping back to Las Vegas out of pocket) or for cash (paying the shipping plus losing an additional 20% restocking fee) but you know, this is a community and in a community people are supposed to look out for one another. This situation was totally avoidable and while I'm willing to let it go (there are plenty of great vendors to buy from) I'm not willing to let it go and have the same thing happen to an unwitting forum 'neighbor.' This is what happens when you have lowly paid flunkies in the shipping department. I've bought from him twice and my stuff arrived unflogged and clean. I'm betting that business is picking up for him, he's hiring more help and complaints will help him weed out the unworthy. Plus, as someone recently discovered, (Rusty variator fan) he will make good on legitimate beefs and throw in extra bits to say, "Sorry".

Yep. So far that was my only issue. I recently received a complete clutch and bell assembly and its flawless. If i were a vendor Id rather have someone contact me first before posting on these sites. I had no problem naming names after the resolution and the result which bolsters the vendors reputation. I certainly hope you follow up and post what they do for you. PS I dont care where hes from as long as i get what i need when i need it.

Well since one of the things that happened to the OP also happened to me I should mention that I ordered a GASKET set and you got it. It came in a too small of a package FOLDED not good. If you go and use that folded gasket piece chances are very good it is going to leak.
And just to clarify, the package was not folded the gasket set INSIDE the envelope was folded to fit the envelope. Alleyoop

obviously these packages were not checked by the supervisor, they rely on the person who prepared the package.,,i believe these packages should pass through several quality check and quantity check before they send them to the end user. it just doesnt feel good when you are waiting for the parts for several weeks only to see that the product inside is broken, incorrect part etc...you know what i mean?

Is there a place here somewhere we can give reviews of vendors?

If I were a vendor I'd love every screw up to stay a secret but as a modern online consumer I don't think that is a reasonable expectation or desire. I too just want what I order, when I order, how I order. I would expect most of us share this. I think it's also reasonable to want to be able to anticipate the chances of this actually happening before ordering from someone. I couldn't care less where he's from either by the way, that's not my concern. bb

Oh sure, a supervisor should stand over his employees and check every single thing they do. Plus, you don't wait several weeks. Nothing passes through the checks you're asking for. And I do mean nothing. It's why dealers offer warranties, places offer returns and why all things we buy experience troubles occasionally. Even a mighty Proton Saga has troubles from time to time.

WELL? what happened?? Im sure you've spoken to them by now so update US on your credibility. I'm confused, in what way was my credibility in question? You think it didn't happen? Did you want to see the shipping label? The tracking number? You might not know me but there are other people posting in this thread who do, even a vendor whom I've had extensive dealings with. Like I said, I'm confused. The truth is, I haven't spoken to them yet. My 13 yo dog died yesterday and everything else kind of got put on hold. I'm not really sure what they can do at this point. They broke my trust and they messed up my repair schedule. I haven't decided for sure but I'm probably going to just return the whole order, take the hit, and chalk it up to a lesson learned. When I get to a conclusion I'll follow up to this thread.
