So I opened up my package from Scrappy's today and I'm pretty damn unhappy. You can look at the photos and judge for yourself how you would feel. Basically my gripes are as follows: Oil Catch Can Kit - Arrived with open (multiple times resealed) packaging, can cylinder full of nicks and scratches all the way around, possibly from tumbling with the hose clamps or possibly shipped already damaged since it had obviously been previously returned. This item is not cheap relative to other vendors and it was not sold as a 'scratch and dent' part. QMK Gasket Set - Bent twice to fit into the USPS Flat Rate Box, creased directly through the (formed metal) Head Gasket. I bought the whole set (they don't sell the single part) but the piece I actually needed for today was the Head Gasket. Sorry, but this is just dumb. You guys at scrappydogscooters.com portray yourselves as the solution providers but in both cases, this was just straight up negligence. To everyone else reading this: Yes, I can send the order back for a credit (paying the shipping back to Las Vegas out of pocket) or for cash (paying the shipping plus losing an additional 20% restocking fee) but you know, this is a community and in a community people are supposed to look out for one another. This situation was totally avoidable and while I'm willing to let it go (there are plenty of great vendors to buy from) I'm not willing to let it go and have the same thing happen to an unwitting forum 'neighbor.' Bob (ScooterBob in Homestead, FL) I guess I don't understand why the bad mouthing of Scrappydog when you didn't even contact them about the problem before writing this post. At times, things either get packaged incorrectly and sometimes the wrong part is sent. I wouldn't like it either if my parts came that way but, before I would make a post like this I would have talked to the company that shipped them. Then if they didn't make it right, look out keyboard LOL. Jim

Yes. Instead of it being a negative it turns out positive for them since everyone knows who it was that handled their problem. The way he's done it might spoil it for them and never try the vendor. I was actually afraid to say anything for the simple fact that someone might want to take advantage of their good nature.
