There's cooling air coming out of the bottom vent. That's where the air that the fan blows in exits the motor. If you had a head gasket blown enough to move the grass, it would be making a lot of noise. I would still be looking for a vacuum leak. Listen around the engine for a hissing noise.

Ok! Wasn't aware of that, now I am! So at least I've learned something new so far. I definitely hear a hissing sound. I've checked all the hoses I know to check. Hmmmm. I also put some seafoam in the gas, as you advised. It's starting to seem like it might just be a clogged carb. I'll def look around again though for the source of the hissing. I really appreciate all the help, alley, and kz. Just a matter of time before we get this thing figured out

If you have a OIL funnel with the long spout on it use that to try and find where the hissing is coming from. Or make your own with a newspaper or piece of cardboard and go around pointing the spout and the other end put your ear close to it. But Hissing I would look for AIR leaking someplace by the CARB area especially. Alleyoop Check around the VALVE COVER as well.
