Well that is just another clutch from china and the reason it is so cheap look how it is made. Look at how the clutch material was put on. I can imagine what the rest of the clutch is made out of cheap metal I don't think it will last very long. Especially the Clutch where it has to be strong. If this is for a Customer I think you are not doing him any favors you are just asking for a return with a clutch problem. You get what you pay for it. Alleyoop

Thanks again Alley! I am still VERY INEXPERIENCED with the new business. I know may GENERAL way around tools, and I feel like I am mechanically inclined, BUT, I have never had to think about anyone's bike BUT mine. I should have payed more attention to the parts that I am buying, not for MY bike, but for someone else's bike. I STILL HAVE !LOTS! to LEARN! BUT AM WILLING!

I'm not trying to be a shill for John (tvnacman) even though he is a friend of mine. He is offering a complete assembly for $60.00, you slip it on the shaft, put on the bell housing, boom you're done. The other vendor is offering just the pad assembly for $30.00. You were asking about the retaining nut and how to deal with it, it's under the yellow dot:
The torque spring is held down in a COMPRESSED state by this nut. If you're not careful it decompresses at a very rapid rate when the nut comes off, it can be somewhat dangerous. You'll see the spring compressor under the part on Racing Planet's site. It's there for reason, they know what taking the nut off is like. Further, if the pad assembly roasted it may have damaged other parts in the clutch that you can't see. I made a torque spring device a few years back because there just wasn't anything out there to deal with the spring. Obviously the vendors have listened. Just my two cents but I'd get John's product.

Thanks alot Bashan, but I have already ordered just the pad assembly from Racing Planet, and have another cheap one on the way, I would hate to buy a 3RD! hahaha I have found awesome EASY way to get ALL the springs UN-compressed, with no EXTRA tools! The Torque Spring comes out fairly easy with a BENCH VISE, and Oil Filter Strap Wrench. BUT the clamps are a great idea too! The spring is NO MATCH for my body weight! hahaha
Bashan, if you have a link to "John's" Assembly, I would buy it next go around? THANKS AGAIN GUYS!

AND as far as the CLUTCH SPRINGS, A pair of SNAP RING pliers are AMAZING! With one HOOKED TIP, and one STRAIGHT TIP.
