The weather here has been just terrible lately. We had two days of light and nasty snow last week at this time, followed by highs in the twenties for several days after that. Today the weather did a complete 180 and gave us a break. I finally had a chance to run into town for some groceries on two wheels.
It was a glorious outing, although short, and the scooter just hummed. I'm hoping to start a string of at least one ride a month from now on and barring days of ice and snow should be able to do it. Sadly the next week looks dismal but at least I got to use the scooter today.

It gives you a greater appreciation for your scooters, yes? Especially this time of year you can relish each ride more and more.

Yes, the weather is turning bad again later today so I took Rocket into town for a few needed groceries this morning. It's much cloudier today but a few degrees warmer. It's not often I get to ride two days in a row in December but it really raises my spirit when I can. I got a few smiles from people on the street when I rode by.

It's been about 57 here too for the past few days. I go out on my lil blue at least once a day. I love the ride to the post office and back. It's only about a mile and a half but it's better than not riding at all.

low 20's? o gosh!! can you still go out and do some activities?? if you want to maximize or enjoy your life go to florida or california or arizona where u can ride all year round. in Florida tho you have to be extra careful in crossing the streets, crocodiles are everywhere , you might loose your hind legs before you even reach the otherside. plus you need to have a bottle of deodorant in your pocket all the time because its too humid there,, i know it because ive been there. and it sux

i seem to like the power of Honda silverwing , but it is known to have issues with its cvt and squeeking clutch thats why i didnt get that, wouldve been ok because its a 600cc. honda tried installing the Jcosta CVT on it but it always break the beads, bad design and bad review on 2011 maxi scoot mags article. there is one here for sale for $1800 and one in san diego for $2000. both have issues and are not running. i'd go for Tmax or 650 burgman. power and aesthetic wise.
i remember my trip to san diego
those fresh cut xmas trees are from indiana. ranges from $20 to $60 depends on the size.
