I have 2 Bandos with the same miles on each, around a thousand. One runs at about 500 rpms higher that the other.
With no real way of accurately measuring them, if one was a hair narrower what would the performance different equate to? If one was a hair longer?
Is one somehow defective? There shouldnt be such a dramatic difference between 2 almost new belts right?

I was doing some maintenance on my Fashion and decided to change belts even though it looked OK. Boom, I gained 5 MPH. Maybe your width differential is within their manufacturing tolerances. It doesn't take much to make a big difference. I measure mine with a metal metric ruler.Just measure across the top of the belt. It should read close to the mm number on the belt....real close.

The lower rpm belt is 16.77 MM wide. Hmm
