I just took a peak under my scoot and I noticed that I have two of the stock fuel filters on my ride. One pre and one post the fuel device (I don't know what we call this but is is grey or silver and has several hose nipples protruding from it). Is having two fuel filters normal or needed?

ouch, took a look at these, and the reviews are actually terrible, as some here have mentioned. They leak like a sieve with the plastic fittings. Gotta get a version with brass fittings.

"fuel device" sounds like the carburator? Having one prior is the norm, seems.. odd to have one after though, as fuel does not flow out of the carb from another tube, but rather into the manifold. Sure its not an air filter?
